His Story
JD’s passion for pizza started early—at just 9 years old—working alongside his father, Vito, at Riviera’s Italian Restaurant in Reamstown. By age 10, he was already making headlines, featured in Shopping News for flipping pizzas like a pro.
After years of hands-on experience and a deep love for the craft, JD took a leap in 2008 and opened his own shop, JD’s Pazzo Pizza—bringing tradition, flavor, and a whole lot of heart to every pie.
Community Support
JD isn’t just passionate about pizza — he’s proud to be part of the local community. As an alumnus of Ephrata High School, he supports local students and activities by sponsoring many sports teams and school events. When you’re at a football game, you’ll often see a banner or hear an announcement showing that JD’s Pazzo Pizza is cheering on the Mounts — because giving back to the community is part of who JD is.
